Dr. Arturo Lopez Pineda is a leader in the health tech industry, founding and leading Amphora Health, a company that uses advanced technology to help healthcare and science organizations. He previously worked at Genentech, a part of the Roche Group, where he used data to support cancer research and evaluate data assets for the company.
Dr. Lopez Pineda studied computer science and intelligent systems at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He later earned advanced degrees in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh and completed specialized training in Genetics and Data Science at Stanford University.
He is a Fulbright scholar, an honor given to exceptional students and researchers. He is a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico and certified as a Health Informatics Professional by the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). His work helps simplify complex medical and scientific information for everyone’s benefit.
